More Stuff 2 Put On Your Face

So I got some more stuff... Now that I think about it, if I had been more patient I could have been just fine with only one. But.... I just couldn't wait for my new BB Cream to get on the mail so I ended up trying the Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid.
_______________________________________________________
Skin79 Pink Super Plus Blemish Balm BB Cream
Before you even try the product, you have to embrace all the things it provides in only one bottle. The only thing I wasn't looking forewards to was the whitening effect. As a western girl I've learned to admire tanned skin, especially since I live in a country where summers are short. Also since I'm not asian, white skin will and does look unhealthy on me because people over here have very thin skin. This means that all my blood vessels will show even on my face if I'm skinny and fair skinned.
And back to the product itself. I wanted a BB Cream that is good to Oily and Combinated skin since the one I bought before[Lioele BB Cream] is too moisturizing for me at the moment. I can only use it during winter. So I put the Pink Super(Super Pink sounds better) on my face and I had good and bad surprises with it.
Firstly the smell was like an old womans perfume but I could tolerate it. Also it would face away after the BB Cream setteled on my face. Also when I squeezed it out the cream was coming from everywhere. I wonder if other people have this problem?
The good things I noticed were that the coverage was really good and the color evened out my skintone which is kind of reddish. Also even though the Maybelline one is supposed to hide your pores, I think the BB Cream did an even better job at that. Also it looked nice like it didn't need powder.

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid
I saw the commercial and since I'm so touchy about my pores, so of course I wanted to hide them with this. Also I had seen so many girls rave about it on Youtube and especially this one girl looked so flawless with it.
It didn't have a scent and the color was nice. Though when I applied it to my skin, it ended up looking oily. Powder did fix it a little bit but I wasn't pleased. Also the tiny bumps that I did have on my skin looked bigger and it looked caky. This will propably look better if you have normal skin that is perfect. In other words it's like meant for people who don't need foundation.
_______________________________________________________________________
So definitely if you still wonder if you should get a BB Cream, just DO IT! It's better, cheaper and in the long run more healthier for your skin.

P.S. About the background. I do have that perfume but it's not my favorite. I just wanted to add some color into the picture.

Are you like me and just love BB creams but can't wear one because most are very moisturizing and you happen to have oily/combination skin? Do all asians have dry skin? Are BB creams only for people that are asians?

Thing is that there ARE BB creams for oily/combination skin. You just need to look for them a little more. I'm gonna post a list of the BB creams that I have an interest in. Japanese Magazines

Asian magazines are so superior to western magazines. Though this might be a taste issue but I feel that you pay for adds instead of the actual stuff. The biggest difference to me is way more pictures. To me, pictures tell so much more than just text. Also I love japanese street style and gyaru. To tell you the truth I don't know what was the point of this post xD

New Maybelline!

Finally, FINALLY the new Pearl shades hit the store over here. So of course I had to get some! These are from the Color Sensational line that at least in my opinion, has given more quality to drug store products. A lot of the colors are very wearable. I like the lip glosses even though I'm a bigger fan of matte products. So I'll talk about the products I got individually.

Color Sensational Pearl Lipstick in "Pearly Pearl"
I have to say that when I saw the actual color, I was a little scared. Luckily it doesn't give you a "corpse look" like a stronger pigmented lipstick propably would have. It compliments your own lip color very well. If you would like a nudy lipstick instead of a lip gloss, this would be for you. Also it's perfect for example your school/work make up bouch.

Color Sensational Cream Gloss in "Nude Pearl"
Before I even tried it on, the lovely scent made me decide that I'm gonna take it. When I put it on for the first time even my husband said: "You smell like America. It's so good and juicy!". I mean if someone who sees you every day compliments on something, it must be making a difference in your appearance! I also like the fact that the color is very pigmented and nude but has tiny sparkles. Very wearable! Also I have to give a huge plus for the applicator.

Guess What...

Just when you thought after seeing my Foundation Edition that "man that girl has a lot of foundations, she propably doesn't even use/need them all"... I bought another foundation x) BUT before you judge me I'll tell you what happened.

Last night I was feeling bad because no matter how many foundations I have, I don't have anything for hot summer days like the ones right now. My skin is combination skin so during summer it's oily and during winter it's mostly dry. I have foundations for winter and spring/fall weathers because it's more cold than warm. Summer is very short over here so it's better to invest in colder weather condition. Such as people have more heaters here than airconditioning eguipments in their houses all year long.

And now for the actual products. I've always liked Biotherm cleaning products and I love the packages. Also it's a higher end cosmetic line but not as expensive as Lancome. So last night I was browsing for a good mousse foundation because I like the feeling Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse gives but it's bad for my pores. Anyway I bumped to the Biotherm foundation that tightens pores and gives matte finish for 10 hours. Also it doesn't clog your pores like Maybelline. Exactly what I wanted for summer.
So we went shopping today with my husband and there was this final sale in this big store. And I find the Matte Pur 70% off. Come on, it had to be fate! xD The thing is though that it's not exactly my skin color(it's shade "140") but when it dries it just looks like I have a foundation on that gives a little bit of color for my pale face. Also it feels like you have nothing on after it dries and your skin gets so soft. Did I mention 70% off? I'll propably go back for another one xD

The Rimmel Match Perfection is the best thing for under your eyes. It's not heavy and lightens up the area under your eyes. So definitely try since it's cheap too! Mine's in "010 Ivory"

Once You Go Lush...

There's No Way Back. This is the cosmetic company that has made the biggest impact in my life. Literally I wondered how I survived before I found Lush. Their stuff is just amazing and good for your skin. Too bad it's kind of pricey but I will pay for great quality. Like with most drug store products you have to guess if it is working but Lush will always show what it is worth. It's my savior during winter! And I have got rid off rashes with Lush that pharmacy store products couldn't deal with.

Here I have some of the items I have bought from Lush. All of them are things that work well, smell great and don't get my sensitive skin irritated. Imperialis is my number 1 lotion for the face during winter. My skin really hurts after shower during winter and after shaving and the only cure for that is Lush lotions and massage bars. Also I've tried some of their shampoos in sample size but now I bought Rehab because my hair is in such a bad condition. I noticed a big difference just after one use!

And did I mention how great the stuff smells? It's every day luxury. Also it's enviromental friendly so you are making the right choice in saving the planet :) My husband loves Lush things as much as I do! So why not give it a try?

Foundation Edition

So here's ALL of my foundations that I have at the moment. Some are good, some are just bad x) But I'm too cheap to throw them away since I used money on every one of them. And about the Shiseido Refill foundation. I just thought I would by it because it was so cheap even though I didn't get the case. And right after I finished making this post, the Rimmel foundation went back in the garbage bag where it belongs x)

Morning Routine In Korea

So I read this in one website that this is what make up korean women apply every morning before going out of the door. It has 11 steps.

1. Preparation: Primer + make-up base (corrects your skin tone)
2. Foundation
3. Conceal imperfection (concealer)
4. Setting: Set and fix foundation with powder or pact (The pact is now the Korean woman’s favourite touch-up item)
5. Highlighting: Enhance vitality with make-up Brightener
6. Eye brow
7. Eye shadow
8. Eyeliner
9. Mascara
10. Lip
11. Blusher

(I better start practising right now O_O)

Purchases from Trip

So I got these things on my day trip in Estonia. I got two eye shadow pallets with 3 colors from Miss Cop and Carlo Di Roma. I'm not familiar with these brands, I just got them because they were dirty cheap on a sale table x) And why not try something you can't get back home? And I just broke one of the Miss Cop colors... This is what you get x3 The other one looks less lose and better quality.

And now we go to the GOSH glosses. The sparkly one was something I had been wanting for a while now. It doesn't have as much color as the darker pink one that I have. It's just sparkly. Sadly the light on the lip gloss doesn't work. The color is "03". The darker pink with more color is "0068" and is a part of the "Summer '10 Look". It's a very lovely pink color and is good for a natural every day look. I'm thinking about making a post just about GOSH cosmetics.

Sale Purchases

I bought these two lip products so cheap! The lip gloss I have been looking for a while but the Shiseido lipstick was a real find from a sale desk.

Shiseido Lipstick - Perfect Rouge Tender Sheer in "PK421"

I was SO happy I found this. All the other lipsticks in there were dark brown or red so I was surprised that this was left. It's such a pretty pink color. The lipstick is very moisturizing. Definite luxury on your lips. To me it's like that special lipstick you're gonna put on when you know the boy is gonna give you a kiss and you want your lips to be soft and moist but have a hint of color too. Oh the youth is so sweet~

Mschic Lip Gloss - SkunkKiss in "Pink" (I haven't seen any other colors though)

This is a Finnish make up brand and I really like their Skunk Girl Campaign. I read from the website that this make up set is made to tell girls about the negative side of smoking. I personally didn't see this in anything, I just really like the packages and the colors. The lip gloss looks so cute. The color is really great on your lips.

Pink or Brown

I just made my own test to answer a question that had bugged me for a while. One of my favorite color combinations are pink and light brown and I think those two colors mixed together would make the perfect lip color. So here's the dilemma: Pink lipstick and brown lip gloss or brown lipstick and pink lip gloss?

So the result has a lot to do with what products you use. I wanted to used matte colored products because I'm not a big fan of shimmer. The color you want to stay on your lips the most needs to be the color on the lipstick. So for me, pink lipstick with brown lip gloss was the winner :) I would need to get a lot more tanned to pull off a light brown lipstick!

Lip Glosses

These are the "better" lip glosses from my make up table. Let me know if you want me to make a review from any of them!

(from left to right)

MAC "Feeling Dreamy"

Maxfactor "Mellow Pink"

Lumene "Berry Smoothie"

Soap and Glory - Sexy MotherPucker "Half Naked"

GOSH "0082"

Lumene "Soft Papaya"

Soap and Glory - Sexy MotherPucker "Plump Juice"

GOSH "0083"

Soap and Glory - Sexy MotherPucker "Baby Doll"

GOSH Lip Glaze "04"

Revlon "Peach Petal"

Bad Skin

My skin seems to be in a horrible condition. Well it was worse after Britain but it hasn't recovered. Summer is the worst season for my skin because it gets so oily and no matter how much I try to wash it, nothing helps. Right now I have Avon's Dead Sea Mud Mask on.

Before I go further I just want to say that even though I have a lot of Avon stuff, it's not really that great. It's good for someone who has to be on a budget and doesn't have the time to go actually look for a product. It has been easy for me just to order stuff easy from a friend so that's why I have a lot of it. Thank you x)

So my skin is perfect during winter because it's more dry. It's so easy to manage if you just clean normally and moiturize well. But when summer comes it's like my skin just turns its back at me and is like "Forget everything you knew about me because I'm gonna be difficult!". I live in a cold country so I don't know whats gonna happen if I move to a warmer country... But girls out there with dry skin: YOU ARE SO LUCKY! Your pores are invisible and your skin only needs moisture. Life is easy.

Hello Kitty Make Up Bag

So in the upper one you see two of my Hello Kitty bags. The one in the back is more of a survival kind of bag with deodorant, hand sanitizer etc. and the one on the front is one I ordered online and is for make up. Isn't it adorable? I love it :D I don't have powder because it's summer and I try to use as little as possible. The reason why I have so many lip glosses is because I like to have something to choose from. If I had only two or three I would go crazy xD Also some of them I wouldn't use and they woud just hang out on my make up table, stored somewhere and just get old. So when it's right there in my make up bag I will use it. My better brand lipsticks and lip glosses are on my make up table. Note that I usually use the stuff on my make up table. The products in my make up bag are more like stuff to maintain my look when I go out.

Sorry that the lighting is bad. We have very poor lamps in this apartment and it's cloudy today so it's even more darker than normal. And I know the pictures are small. I chouse the biggest size but it still came out like that...

Here's What My Make Up Bag Likes To Eat

1 Avon - Lip Radiance Lip Gloss in "Honeysuckle" (sparkly!)

2 Avon - Read My Lips in "Wink" (smells like coconuts)

3 Avon - Plump Pout in "Pink Pucker"

4 Bourjois - some 3D Effect lip gloss? in "34 Rose Mythic" (got this one in Britain)

5 Lioele - BB Cream

6 Rimmel - Glam'eyes Mascara in Black color (gotta love the package!)

7 Avon - Cool Pout in "Natural Chill"

8 Rimmel - Lasting Finish Lipstick in "Nude Pink" (gorgeous color)

9 Avon - Ultra Color Rich Extra Plump Lipstick in "Pillow Pink" (gives a minty feel)

10 Oriflame - Visions Sugar Rush in "Cotton Candy" (to me smells more like rasberry)

11 Avon - 3in1 Multitask Pen in "Sheer Delight" (very good and pretty color)

12 Avon - Roll On Perfume in "Little Black Dress"

13 Rolly Lip Smacker in "Bubble Gum Vanilla" (I got this when I visited States)

I forgot about 14

15 My cute mirror that reminds me of the mirror from Lioele

16 The Body Shop - Tea Tree Oil Facial Blotting Tissues (you can barely see it in the picture)

Etude House - Peach Cheek Blush

I'm not much of a blush person because I have combination skin so I try to keep my make up minimal during summer because everything is just gonna run down my face. Also my cheeks get its own natural color easily. My friend got this blush for me from South Korea(I didn't need to buy it online) and I think it's just adorable. The color is cute and bring peachy pink. Something you could never find here. It's very pigmented and doesn't have shimmers. I can't say anything about how long it lasts because I think that has more to do with your foundation and powder. I also added a picture of the shade on my hand. Remember that my skin is very pale.

Go Cheap

I just heard from my mom(thing is that I forgot to let my school know I changed my address so they send the letter back to my parents house) that my school will start at the 20th of August. So still one month to go. It's weird how my summer is 3 months long. But anyway I'm planning on taking a cruise with my husband to Sweden soon. I still can't decide when since now that I hurt my foot and every step is full of pain...it's probably a bad idea right now. I want to go there soon though. They have Too Faced cosmetics. So let me know if you guys think it should be better as soon as possible or on our anniversary?

I also realized that I've been paying myself sick of Avon cosmetics that don't even satisfy me. For one Avon lip gloss I could get 3 Nyx ones and Nyx ones look so much more better. Way more shades. So why not? First though I need to pay my friend back for the Avon things before I can order online. I wanted to add a picture so there's Scarlett Johansson even though she has nothing to do with this post and she's definitely not cheap xD

Color Me Nude Lip Concealer

The product me and maybe others have been waiting for! Yes an actual product review :D Color Me Nude Lip Concealer from Etude House :)

Here's also comparison to more well known nude lip products:

Mac "Myth" - Color Me Nude - Revlon "Nude Attitude"
(My skin is very pinkish toned)

I'm never been a fan of MAC because it's so expensive here where I live. Also I think the lipsticks are way too drying so I think you can get more value to your money with cheaper products. Maybe if I didn't have to care so much about money I... wouldn't care what I buy but the situation is what it is xD Color Me Nude doesn't last as long as MAC does but definitely is not as drying. Also I have to say that I don't like the smell of Myth +_+

Next Things In My Online Shopping List

Avon Lip Glosses

Here we have all the Avon lip glosses that I own. The two last ones to the right are minty lip plumpers.

(from left to right)

Avon Glazewear Shine "Iced Pink" very pretty light pink
Avon Glazewear Shine "Tickled Pink" close to my own lip color

Avon Ultra Color Rich "Pink Icing" I don't use this one very much x)
Avon Ultra Color Rich "Natural Glow" cool color!
(I just realized these two have SPF 15!)

Avon Cool Pout "Natural Chill"
Avon Plump Pout "Pink Pucker"

(these are very sheer colors so they don't really show up on your lips much but the cool minty feeling they give makes up for it :p)

My Korean Cosmetic Orders

I'm sharing some of my orders, gifts from friend, samples I got for free(!) and just stuff I have bought.

Here in the first picture you can see (from left to right) you see the pink squares that you put on your hair to keep it back while you're washing your face of putting make up on(very handy!) I got them from this one asian store from a mall I usually go to. I never thought I would find those here because I've seen a lot of asian girls use those on their videos x) The next thing I'm gonna talk about is the uber cute lipstick from Etude House and I will have a better picture of it more down this post.

Then we see a Skin Food Peach Sake Pore Serum. I think I need to keep using it more to see the results but what I can say now is that it smells really good ^^ Next would be the Peach Cheek Blusher. The color is gorgeus and I will take a picture of it later! And then... The best of them ALL! Lioele BB cream!♥ I don't know how I lived before this because it's the best foundation ever! Then last but not least is a cell phone sticker(well you can stick it on anything) that I bought from the tiny asian shop in the mall. I'll propably go for more later =D

Here's a better picture of the lipstick from Etude House. It's from the V.I.P girl collection. The shade is a light pink and I think the shade is "You Say Pink" but I'm not 100% sure.

The last picture has all of the extra stuff I've got with my orders from eBay. It's really cool that they do that xD

I'm still missing my Etude House Color Me Nude Lip Concealer (T-T) I hope you get here soon~

You'll Be Mine

The cutest make up bag ever!!!

Avon :D

Just remembered that Avons "season"? "period"? just changed so I better get to their website and look for stuff xD I'm a woman, on a budget~

Music!

Can't stop listening to this xD

Hello

Because of extreme summer boredom I decided to create a blog with my friend(separately though). I hope this will keep me entertained for a while.
